OCTOBER NEWS AND INSPIRATION

Hello Rubber Dance fans.  Gail here today to kick off the new month at the Rubber Dance blog.

It's October and here in the Northern hemisphere we are seeing definite signs that summer is over and Autumn is here.  This month's challenge inspiration photo is suitably seasonal and that hedgehog is just too cute!!!  Although you don't have to use either in your makes!  As long as they feature Rubber Dance stamps you are good!!

Our monthly challenges are now based in our FB fan group.  The colours for the October challenge are Yellow, Dark Brown and Burnt Sienna and/or you can go for the Anything Goes theme.  Link up your makes using the colours and/or theme using Rubber Dance stamps and you might be the lucky winner of a €15 voucher.

We are very pleased to welcome our guest designer for October.....Astrid Galjaard

Astrid is from the Netherlands and lives on an island called Texel.  She says:
I am married to a great man, and we have 1 son, a daughter in law and a beautiful granddaughter.  I have been crafting many many years, first as a Parchment teacher, than making cards, and now I have fallen in love with art journaling and mixed media.
I see and learn a lot on youtube and facebook and I love it.
We don’t have any hobby shops on the island so I order everything on internet.

To start off our inspiration this month Astrid made this beautiful autum card using Textured Mushrooms stamps

Check her blog and Astrid will be joining us later in the month with more gorgeous projects using Rubber Dance stamps.

Now here's some inspiration from the team.

Dot made this gorgeous card using stamps from Antique Botanicals, Da Vinci Woman 1 and Something Wonderful

Evelyn made these gorgeous journal pages using stamps from Da Vinic Old Man and Doodle Borders 1 stamp sets.

Gerry made these gorgeous alcohol lift cards using stamps from I Love Leaves and Mix A Sentiment stamp sets.

Majo made this beautiful card using stamps from Da Vinic Woman 3Vintage Lace and Mix A Sentiment.

Saadia made these stunning art journal pages using stamps from Mix A Sentiment, Doodle Borders #2 and Textured Mushrooms.

Wow.  Another fabulous start to the month.  I hope you feel inspired to get out your stamps and create something today.   Join the fun and link up your makes using Rubber Dance stamps in the Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge.  Looking forward to seeing your makes and you could win a voucher to the shop!!  Hugz
