Mixed Media Made Easy Art Journal Style Cards with video Tutorial by Gerry

Hi lovely Rubber Dance friends, it's Gerry on the blog today with some easy mixed media art journal style cards. And I have a video tutorial were I explain it all. Make sure to watch the video   to see all techniques in action, there are lots of layers on the background done in different ways besides the fun painting technique. I made a background on A4 size paper with paint and a wet wipe a fun and easy way to colour your paper. I used four colours dylusions paint. I used the old bookpage , Mix A Sentiment #2 and Grungy Harlequin for the added texture. For that I used different colours ink, Distress Oxide and Versafine Clair. Here is the finished background with all the layers ready to cut to size for cards I stamped and fussy cut the Textured Flowers and made a composition on the card.  I added the Mix A Sentiment words stamped and heat embossed in white on black paper. Hi Rubber Dance friends, it's Gerry on the blog today. Did you see the Rubber Dance Moodboard Challenge for this month? Today I have some ideas for you on how you can use the mood board.  There are a bunch of ways you can go about a mood board, just go with your feeling and don't just don't overthink it.  In the video I show some fun and easy techniques with distress Oxide inks to add colour on your backgrounds, with just one colour and also for a soft multi coloured background. And I show you how you can add texture in the same colour so make sure to watch video to see all techniques. This is the Februari mood board with super cool winter pictures and a few colours to help you get started. Multi Flower Stamping With Tim Holtz Stamping Platform + Video Tutorial by Gerry

Hi lovely Rubber Dance friends, it's Gerry on the blog today and I have some multi flower cards. The weather is so depressing lately that I thought we could use some Rubber Dance flowers. And I have a super easy and cool trick on how to multi stamp with the Tim Holtz Stamping Platform, that you will love! I have tried the multi stamp technique on the platform and it works really well and it only needs a small adjustment and you may already have it right at home. So b e sure to watch the video were I explain it all. For the first card I used the  Crazy Flowers 1  to make a filled flower background. I used Distress Ink to colour with an ink blending tool. I have two cards were I used the  Textured Christmas Green  depending on the colours you use i think they can be used all year. With a bit darker colours it makes a great masculine card. Hi lovely Rubber Dance friends, it's Gerry on the blog today with some love inspired cards, we have Valentines day coming up, right. Hi lovely Rubber Dance friends, it's Gerry on the blog today and I have two Christmas cards with Rubber Dance Textured Christmas Green and some fun Nuvo Shimmer Powder Techniques. The beautiful stamps combined with some amazing shimmer make these cards great for your Christmas snail mail. In the video I show how you can make the background with the Shimmer Powders very easy and with lots of texture. And I use the same colours with a pink added to colour the images using a brush and I walk you through the complete process. So be sure to watch today's video to see all techniques in action.
