One Colour Ink Layering With Distress Oxide Ink + Video Tutorial by Gerry

Hi lovely Rubber Dance friends, it's Gerry on the blog today and I have another art journal page to share. I used the Round in Circles stamp with just one colour ink for the background and different techniques to build the colours.

I only used one Rubber Dance stamp set with Distress Oxides Ink Peacock Feathers for the background and a few easy but fun techniques to build the layers. this is also very doable for beginner crafters, so make sure to watch the video to see all techniques at work.

I started on Craft Perfect - Watercolour Card and I used a Nuvo - Nylon Brush to make a watercolour background. This dilutes the ink and is perfect for the first layer.

I made more layers with the Round in Circles stamp which has a bunch of different designs and is great for layering. I stamped a sentiment on Craft Perfect Ultra Smooth Card with VersaFine Ink Onyx Black ink and cut out the words to make the sentiment.

I finished with the sentiment from the Mix A Sentiment stamp and some doodling with a Sakura Micron Pen Set around the words and edge to add some black accents for contrast.
Now I made an art journal page but of course you can use this idea for a card too.

I hope you liked this super easy page and you are inspired to started right away. Thanks for stopping by and make sure to keep on crafting!
