CAS-ual Friday: ATC by Melina

Hello!

It´s Melina here today on CASual Friday with a cute little ATC to share.


I stamped the Flying Ink Bottle girl on a piece of photopaper that I have coloured 
with Distress Oxide inks. I stamped her once again on a red scrap piece of paper and cut out the wings and label for the ink bottle. I glued them into place.
Then I just stamped the quote from the same stamp set and doodled around the edges 
and my ATC was finished.
I really love this stamp!

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
