Witchy Wants by Samantha Read

Image
Hello, Samantha here today and I'd like to share a little project I made for Hallowe'en. It's raining here today so the light was not great for taking photos but I think it makes it look even more spooky. I used two fun stamp sets, Little Witch and What A Girl Wants. I began by stamping out my chosen stamps and I then coloured them using watercolours. I used some MDF from my stash. I created the background using distress inks and sprays and also a stencil. I stamped some stars and created the moon using a Tim Holtz mask/stencil set. I added textured paste to the spider to give him texture. I finished by adding some inky splats, some pumpkin ornaments and some white highlights with a Posca pen. Here are the stamp sets I used; What a Girl Wants and Little Witch  I do hope you like it, for lots more fun and inspiration you can join the Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge on Facebook, right here . Thanks so much for looking, wishing you a lovely day, Sam :)

Little Halloween gift by Farida

Image
Hello lovelies, do you celebrate Halloween? I normally don't really celebrate it.....but my daughter just loves it. So why don't create a cute little Halloween sweets gift for her.  I used this cute little ghost from the  Little Witch stamp set  and gave him this huge hat.  For colouring the images and the background matting I used some Watercolour brush pens.  The matching sentiment is from the additional sentiment  Boo to you / Verhexte Grüße . This little gift box came together pretty easy and fast.....so I think there will be a couple more to follow.....so friends can have one too :) Thank you for stopping by....have a boo-tiful day. Farida

Spooky Art Journal Page with Farida

Image
Hello lovelies,  Farida here. Wonderful to see you here again. Thank you for stopping by.  Are you celebrating Halloween? We don't really do this...but as it is October I was inspired by this theme. So I created a mini Art Journal Page.  I love this little witch hat from the Little Witch Stamp set. But this time I wanted to give it to something else than the witch itself.  So I gave it to him...this little bird from the Sketchy Bird Stamp Set. To give him a whimsical look I coloured him in green and just gave him a orange beak. To finish the page I drew a branch myself, coloured it and gave it to the bird, so he can sit on something. Last I stamped the word 'believe' from the Affirmations stamp set.  Wish you all a happy, healthy and crafty day. Greetings from Farida <3

Little Witch Tag by Toni

Image
Hello again my lovelies  Today I've created a small tag book using the Little Witch stamp set  After seeing Halloween all over social media lately I thought why not.  Firstly I attached two tags together with masking tape and cut some dies out that I wanted to use  Using the grave paste and oxide distress sprays I made the background I wanted a night sky affect using the stencil to give the look of clouds  Spray some mica sprays to give a sparkle glow to the sky  Then before putting it all together I did some stamping using the Mixed Media Marks and Affirmations stamp sets.   I hope you join me and get your spook on Hope you have a fabulous week Toni XoXo

Atc´s Little Girl

Image
H ello, I'm Vero (@Vero.kt) and I welcome you to the inspiration of today Saturday. How's everybody?  I've been  playing  with Rubber Dance Pencil Marks #1 ,  Carved Collection #1  ,  Little Witch   and Mixed Media Marks to create a colourful ATCs that I hope you like. Very easy to do! We cut watercolour paper to a size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches, if you prefer to work in cm, 6.4x8.9.  In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed, and I coloured the backgrounds with pigments. When the backgrounds is dry (we can speed up the process with a heat gun) we will add texture and depth with different inks, in my case I have used  distress oxide.  To start, I choose a stamp from the  Mixed Media Marks , apply the inks, spray water, and stamp, (I'm not looking for definition, I'm looking for a watercolour effect, watery).  I used the dryer and go back to stamp with different inks, to continue adding depth and texture. T o add depth and hig...

Little Witch Card

Image
Hello and welcome to today's inspiration Monday. How is everyone? I enjoy and have a lot of fun creating cards, and if it's Halloween-themed, even more. I hope you like it.  I have been playing with Rubber Dance's   Mixed media marks ,  Grungy Sequins  ,  Boo to You    and   Little Witch . To begin with, I have cut a circle with scalloped edges in watercolor paper. I add color like a watercolor with the pigments. When I get the desired shades I let it dry or I help myself with a heat gun.I add stamps and embossing in white to the background One of the most fun parts of the creative process for me is coloring and cutting. This time I have colored with watercolor pencils. Now it's time to arrange the elements to finish the composition. Here are several photos of the project so you can appreciate the details. Here are the  Rubber Dance Stamps I used: Mixed media marks   Little Witch . Boo to You Grungy Sequins I hope you enjoyed and d...
