Feathery Collage in Watercolor by Ellie Knol

 Good day !

Ellie Knol from PAPER-STAMPS-COLOR with you today. 
I am not totally a new design team member, as I have been doing some guest designing for Rubber Dance in the past. 

I am happy to create / play with the beautiful designs from Rubber Dance!! 



I decided to create a second project with the colors of the monthly challenge; the soft colors remind me of spring. .. and with that .. birds of course!


A background in my stash made a perfect fit, colorwise, but also a match for the 

Coloring them using Ecoline and watercolor pencils make the feathers pop more.. 


I am sure you have some backgrounds in your stash that would make a match with stamps, and go create this way..

Happiness is a state of mind - Art Journal Page

Hello Everyone, Shilpa from the Design Team here. I am sharing with you a journal spread, for which I've used Rubber Dance Nostalgic Couples , Something Wonderful and few other stamp sets. Here's my procedure... To make the texture on the journal page, first I cut out this piece using a die. I adhered that die cut pieces on pages and applied embossing paste through stencil.  Let it dry completely.   To bring colours to the page I spritzed randomly with  Peacock Feather, Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans and Vintage Photo distress inks. To create one more layer I stamped circles and text on the page. In addition I applied colours from distress crayons to create depth. I stamped the Nostalgic Couple on another paper with black archival ink and coloured it with distress markers.   I adhered a few embellishments and ephemera and layered the lovely couple image onto it. Back from The Netherlands

Hello everyone! It's Bibi here today, typing to you from my new keyboard .... Isn't that speck-tacular?  But what does my "new" keyboard have to do with my trip to The Netherlands? Keep reading and you'll soon find out ... As our regular blog readers will know, I spent a week in The Netherlands earlier this month. The main reason I went there was so I could go to the ARTSpecially stamp show in Nijkerk to meet my Dutch retailer - Marian, who owns Hobbycompleet de Duif . But before that, my sweetheart and I spent some days in Amsterdam, one of my fave places in the world! The huge "I amsterdam" letters on the plaza behind Rijksmuseum (National Gallery). Any toursist with respect for herself will take 100's of photos of those letters....
