Flowers Gone Wild Atc´s

Image
Hello it´s Verónica here (@Vero.kt) I have been playing with some of the new stamps.  Mixed media marks  and  Flowers Gone Wild  face become favorites of mine. ¿And what better format than the Atc´s? Very easy to do, we start.  We cut watercolor paper that measures 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches, if you prefer in centimeters 8,9cm by 6,4 cm approximately. And  I color the backgrounds with watercolors. When the backgroud dries, I emboss in white, choose one of the stamps from the set  Mixed media marks . To add textures and depth with black permanent ink, prints here and there. I chose one of the flowers from the set  Flowers Gone Wild  , color and cut them One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition.I have to admit that it is usually the part that takes me the longest.  We already have our atcs ready. Now I leave you some photos with details of the project. ...

Hello it´s Jessica here. I have been playing with some of the new stamps the last couple of days.  Mixed media marks and the face from This is me has really become favorites of mine.  This is one of the art journal pages I made with the face stamp. I built up the background with stamps from Mixed media marks and This is me. Then I colored it with Arteza guoache paints. If you wish to see the whole process, here is a tutorial. I have used this stampset in my journal page. See you soon and stay safe!

A mini canvas with Carved Whimsy Wood by Saadia Nawaz

Image
Hi Everyone, Saadia here with a quick and easy mini canvas project. I hope you like it. I made the background with texture products followed by washes of acrylic paints. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the process steps. I used the big tree stamp from the  Carved Whimsy Wood  set as my focal image. The words are from the  Journal Words  stamp. That's all for now. A reminder that we have a challenge that goes all month on our face book page which you can find here . Thank you for visiting. Take care, Saadia Nawaz. Flower Swag Journal Page by Angie Coomber

Image
Hello crafty friends, how are you all doing? Today I have a fairly quick page for you - it may not look like it but you'll see what I mean soon... I started off by using the Loose Florals #2 and Grungy Butterfly #1 stamp sets to stamp on some old scrapbook paper (this is the quick bit - no painting required!) I only used green and red papers for this. The leaves and butterflies are stamped with embossing ink and black embossing powder, the flowers with sparkly black embossing powder. I loosely scribbled an arrow shape in my journal, using a black Stabilo All pencil, then smudged this with a water brush. I added some background stamping using the Loose Florals, Grungy Borders & Journal Words stamps to add some background stamping. I also added some splatter & mark making using yellow ochre paint. Next I arranged the cut out flowers, leaves and butterflies on the page until I was happy (you can always take a photo to refer to), then glued them down. Finall...

Spread Love in the World Card by Dunja

Image
Hello everyone, in these crazy times, it's love and bright colors that we need, right? I was inspired to make today's card by the many rainbows on the windows of the houses, which are supposed to symbolize hope. Then there are whole blocks of houses singing together on the balcony as a thank you and to spread love. That is exactly what it is, to bring back the beautiful thoughts with music, to make the world colourful again. I hope that my card today will do that a little bit.  First I embossed the Music stamp on white cardstock. Afterwards I took my Distress Oxide Inks, blended in rainbow colors. Then I embossed the stamp Mix a Sentiment #1 white on black cardstock and cut out the matching words and stuck them on the card. I added some sequins in rainbowcolors too.  Whenever you have the chance to spread some love, make it colourful, do it! They'll thank you very much. Stay healthy and creative. Dunja xxx      ...

Colorful Garden with Flowers Gone Wild by Ellie Knol

Image
Ellie Knol again with some inspiration.. These  Flowers Gone Wild  stamps are so beautiful.. you must have seen all the gorgeous samples from other teamies   ..     **** In my  previous post  I had to choose one of two backgrounds ... remember?  At that stage I decided I need images stamped with a brown  on the greenish spread.  You might also have pages in an art journal that are to be completed.. I have several journals with pages I create in stages; with leftover pieces of paper napkins, torn-edged papers, leftover pieces of washi tape, etc. This is a spread I made this way. Prime the page with a matte medium before stamping the flowers with Versafine black and heat emboss in clear. Yes, black.. lol .. and why prime?  You can wipe off the stamping if needed..  Use colors to ink up background stamps from the  Mixed Media Marks  set to match colors in the flowers and background...

Mixed media tags Soul & Spirit by Lisa

Image
Hi dear friends, Lisa today to share with you these mixed media tags playing with watercolors and Rubber Dance Stamps, of course! I started by gluing on the background some pieces of collage papers and paper diecuts with gel medium. Then I brushed a light coat of white gesso and I used my watercolors, trying to keep some white spaces. I let it dry so I stamped randomly some leaves from Doodle Flowers set. Here and there I brushed a little bit of white gesso with a spatula to add more texture to the background. On a piece of watercolor paper I stamped the flowers which I colored with purple watercolor, I cutted them and I glued on my tags. Then I used Journal Words stamps with white embossing powder on a black cardstock and I chose some words to add to the tags. I used these Rubber Dance Stamps from the shop:                                           ...
