Rainbow Row of Houses Card by Dunja

Hello everyone, it's me, Dunja, and this is my first post for Rubber Dance and I'm so happy and glad to be here. I hope I can always give you some inspirations. :)

For today's card I have chosen the houses from set HOUSE ROW 3 and it will be colorful.

Here you can see how I created the card in a step-by-step.
First I fixed all stamps on acrylic blocks. I use waterpaper from Crafter's Companion and WOW! Embossing powder fine white to emboss the houses. Before that I use an anti-static pad, which contains a powder, to prepare the paper for embossing. You simply wipe over the surface of the paper, so that the embossing powder sticks only where it should, on the stamp print.

I have decided to use the Distress Oxide Ink Pads. They have a good consistency, can be blended very well and have a nice chalk effect. I simply blend over the embossing. At the end I take a soft cloth and wipe over the motif to remove the last remains of ink on the embossing. Then it is bright white again.

I cut out the houses after that.

Then I chose a stencil and used the colors I already used for the houses again with the stencil. I used the stencil only partially, because I only wanted to set highlights for the houses.

The oxide inks dry a little slower, perfect to cover them with transparent embossing powder. Just sprinkle on, put the excess powder back into the container and then heat it up with the heat tool. Do you see the beautiful effect?

I arranged the houses to match the colour areas on the paper and put them together on the card.

Finally I have the stamp set MIX A SENTIMENT #1 and picked out some words, cut them out and added them to the card. A few Nuvo Drops in white for decoration that the card was ready.

I hope you enjoyed the rainbow row of houses and don't forget to visit regularly. The team has amazing inspirations every day - just for you.

See you soon, enjoy the sun
