Simplicity Sunday - The Merry Magpie by Sue

Good afternoon and a very happy Sunday, it's Sue here with my quick, simple, and ever so slightly blingy piece.
I love to create my backgrounds with paint and a brayer, and for every days background pieces you also have a mop-up sheet where you clean up your brayer.  This is one of those sheets, I've just chopped it down to size and brayered a border.
I fixed the Merry Magpie to my stamping platform along with the sentiment from the same set. I always like to use this when I'm stamping over lots of paint so that I can re-stamp if I need to, then I embossed with jet black embossing powder.
I stitched it all into my black album, and as all magpie's like a bit of the shiny, I added a few (lots) of sequins.

Art Journal Page with Distress Ink Background and Crazy Flowers

Hi everyone! It's Susanne writing today. I used Distress Inks together with some of our Crazy Flowers to create the page in this art journal. It's a watercolor journal from Kunst & Papier, it's one of my favourites to use with Ink and watercolors. I didn't use any gesso to prime my page. The flowers are embossed with white powder on watercolor paper. I coloured them in in complementary colours, by dipping them into the Distress Inks, to let them pop from the background. Rubber Dance meets StarTrish Design!

Hello everyone! It's Bibi here today to show you some awesome stamps that are NOT from Rubber Dance! As a stamp manufacturer myself and the owner of Rubber Dance, it has been years since I went shopping for stamps anywhere else..... However! When I saw that Trish Latimer had launched the first stamps from her own designs, I nearly fell off my chair in excitement!!! Her stamps - which you can see here - are quite big: 12 cm tall (!) and I knew right away that they would be a perfect match with the big flower stamps on Rubber Dance's set  Textured Flowers .
