The whole box of crayons : Art Journal spread
Hi everyone, it's Liesbeth here again. This time I would like to show you an art journal page using some Rubber Dance stamps. As I'm very much in love with this couple (from the stamp sheet Travel), I used them as the focal point.
This is how I created these pages:
Cover a journal spread with old bookpaper and add a layer of gesso. Keep it translucent at the top of the page and more opaque at the bottom. Add torn pieces of different washi tape as shown.
Add structure with some stencils and molding paste.
Accentuate some borders and edges and the circles by drawing with a black water soluble pencil and a waterbrush.
Stamp the couple and the sentiment (Something wonderful) onto a separate piece of paper, cut them out and sponge some Vintage Photo Distress ink onto it. Glue them onto the page and draw shadows around it with a water soluble pencil and water. Stamp (fragments of) the map stamp with grey StazOn ink here and there, and stamp the watch and the tower using black ink. ( all stamps from Travel).
Finished spread once more:
Thanks for stopping by, hope you like it !
Have lots of fun creating and see you next time :-)
Take care,
Liesbeth XX
