The whole box of crayons : Art Journal spread

Image
Hi everyone, it's Liesbeth here again.  This time I would like to show you an art journal page using some Rubber Dance stamps.  As I'm very much in love with this couple (from the stamp sheet  Travel ),  I used them as the focal point. This is how I created these pages: Cover a journal spread with old bookpaper and add a layer of gesso.  Keep it translucent at the top of the page and more opaque at the bottom.  Add torn pieces of different washi tape as shown. Using black StazOn ink, stamp some text stamps here and there.  I used stamps from Travel and  Collage Mix Add structure with some stencils and molding paste. Let dry well. Stamp some circles  ( Round in circles ) Add colour by using Gelatos.  Blend the colours with a waterbrush. Accentuate some borders and edges and the circles by drawing with a black water soluble pencil and a waterbrush. Stamp the couple and t...

Da Vinci layered cards

Hi everyone, it's Liesbeth here showing you two cards I made using the wonderful Da Vinci plate!  I also used stamps from Round in Circles and Travel .  These three plates are so perfect to combine!  They're built up in layers with many different inks, spray and paint. The paint works as a resist!  Spray a tiny bit of Dylusions spray onto two corners of the card (I used pink and blue).  Stamp the women with StazOn Jet Black and mask them with masking paper.  Then stamp the flower here and there with orange StazOn (blue/orange card) and some circles with pink StazOn onto the other card.  Cover the...

The end of a month also means that I want to share some of the cool stuff that have been made with my stamps this month. So, here goes - in alphabetical order as usual: Anita: Bibi: (Butterfly Chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts) Craftyfield (Guest Designer): Gail: (Cat chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts) Liesbeth (Guest Designer): Irit: Katy: Kristiina: Majo: Susan: Susanne: How about that...
