It's another colourful and inspirational month here on the Rubber Dance blog.

The first day of the month so we have a new moodboard.  You can be inspired by anything on the moodboard; one or more colours, things, shapes, memories it inspires, things it makes you feel, etc. etc..  It's basically anything goes, but in case you need a little help to get started Dunja has put together this awesome inspiration for you.

If you are creating anything with Rubber Dance stamps this month, whatever your inspiration, please post a new project in our Facebook  group or over on Instagram. You must have used at least one of our stamps on your project to join. If you are posting on Instagram use the hashtag #rubberdancemoodboard and tag us @rubberdance in your post! cos someone is going to win €10 to spend in the Rubber Dance store!   Don't forget.... Bleu, Blanc, Rouge

Hello crafters, Craftyfield here back for another Guest Designer spot. The piece I have today is a bit different, for one I don't know what to call it: it's not a card and it is too small to say it's a journal page! Anyway, with the events of the 13th of November in mind, I wanted to highlight the colours of the French flag (the Bleu Blanc Rouge of the title), which also happen to be the colours of the Rubber Dance challenge this month. Paris has a special place in my heart and, with very little in the way of supplies, I managed to get the page to "say" what I wanted to say. Supplies: Distress inks create a French flag background. The Eiffel Tower (from the Travel set) is symbolic for Paris The word Souvenir [1] is both for Paris as a tourist destination and for the remembrance of the victims. The word Always is illustrating the famous Casablanca film quote "We'll always have Paris". In combination these words also deliver their r

Love This Life

Good morning and happy Wednesday. It's Sue here with my first piece of the year. Now everyone knows how much I love Christmas, but I was really happy to not make a Christmas card. My thoughts have now turned to Spring, and so I've made myself some flowers. I started by painting a wooden frame with some Colourcraft Lustre Paints. These really are lovely and dry very quickly. I've just dabbed the colours on with my blenders. Then I stencilled on some silver metallic paint through a That's Crafty  grungy harlequin stencil. I also painted/daubed a piece of chipboard with blues, greens, and pearl Lustre paints. I love these new Crazy Flowers (1)  that Melina has designed for Rubber Dance, and I've stamped and embossed them on the chipboard. I'm also a huge fan of Brusho's, so I've made a couple of backgrounds and stamped the flowers and leaves from both Crazy Flowers 1 and 2 . Now for my favourite bit, the cutting o
