Birds Colorful Card - Tutorial

Hello creative friends! How are you all keeping? Vero (@vero.kt) is here with  new colorful cards that I hope you like. I have been playing with some of the new stamps. Mixed media marksFlowers Gone Wild and Textured Birds.

Very easy to do, we start. We cut watercolor paper in a size of 4 by 6 inches. In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed.

We are going to add pieces of book sheets, which we usually have in the house, comment that collage paper, rice paper, etc. would be worth it. I have used collage glue, glue, medium gel as well.

We choose a stencil and we will perform the gesso resist technique. For this we apply with a spatula or gesso finger (as a recommendation, it is not very liquid)

To speed up the drying process we use a dryer. And when the gesso is completely dry, we apply color, I have used pigments, but you can also use distress inks, watercolors, acrylics, etc.

We help ourselves with a dryer, and we remove with excess paper the excess paint or pigment.

Now we add textures and depth with black permanent ink, prints here and there. I have also used to stamp oxide inks. I have used the new stamps. Mixed media marks

After stamping, I use the same stamps for embossing, with Glaze powders, give a glassy or semi-transparent appearance

Now it's time to stamp and color our stamps.I finally decide to use Textured Birds.

After stamping and coloring, the funniest part comes, the composition and we would finish with our cards. Now I leave you some photos with details of the project.

Here are the Rubber Dance Stamps I used:

I hope you enjoyed and don't forget to visit regularly. The team has amazing inspirations every day, just for you.

Verónica.
