I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Do you have made any resolutions for 2020???
I did. I will tell you mine at the end of this post ;-)

I'm sharing an art journaling video today using our lovely Textured Sea Creatures. This is the first page in my new 6 x 6 watercolor journal. My old one was full and I'm starting a new one for this year. I use salt together with watercolors to create some special texture on the background.

I promised to tell you my New Year's resolutions....
1. At first it is sports! I want to do it more regularly!
2. Practice my watercolor skills daily
3. Keep a botanical sketchbook, mainly with plants (or animals) we have in our garden.
4. Try to use and buy less plastic!

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
