Square Page with Textured Flowers by Evelyn
Hello and happy New Year dear Rubber Dancer, it´s Evelyn here today!
I made a square page, size 15 x 15cm (about 6" x 6"). May be I´ll start a new art journal? What do you think?
For the background I tried out some cheap oil pastels I bought a while ago (well, not too good results, but okay).
I stamped some pattern for more interest with the Grungy Harlequin stamp. Then I used a stencil from PaperArtsy and some modeling paste to create some hanging leaves. When dry, I colored them with acrylic paints in various greens and yellow.
Now I stamped the beautiful Textured Flowers and leaves and heat embossed them with black embossing powder. I drew in some stems and colored them with acrylic paints.
To set some highlights I used white Gesso and a white gel pen.
I stamped my words from the Mix a Sentiment #1 stamp and the Journal Words on tissue and glued them down with matte medium. I then added a Small Grungy Butterfly, I had left over from a former project. Some shading, black paint splatters and a black boarder finished off my page.
Here is close ups:
That´s it for today, I hope you like my little page!
Don´t forget about our Mood Board! May be you want to play with us, it´s a gorgeous inspiration!
Thank you for your visit today!
