Hello everyone sorry for the lateness of this post, technology is great when it works, anyway better late than never!

Here is a quick and simple tag!



For this quick card I cut a tag in watercolour card and smooched on some blue and green paint using my Sennelier watercolour paints. Once that was
dry I added a few plants.



I love to add splashes of paint and chose to stick to the blues and green for these ones. I also added some of the little fish from this new set designed by Melina. I love these gorgeous little fish, and look at those cute little hearts.


 For the main fish, I used the stamp platform, stamped the fish, then using white acrylic paint, completely painted all the fish.


Once they were dry, I restamped the fish and heat set the ink. Then using my Artist Pitt Pens coloured in the fish.




I then mounted the card onto a kraft card and added a ribbon.

After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. Easel Card With Textured Flowers

Hello.  Welcome.  Gail from the design team here today with a project using the new Textured Flowers stamps.  I loved these the moment I saw them.  Big beautiful blooms.  And many small er stamps for adding leaves and texture.   I decided to make a Twisted Easel Card.  There are many tutorials available but I used this one by Lois.  So here's my card using Textured Flowers and of course, a giraffe .......... I was inspired by the Rubber Dance challenge colours which for June are: I stamped the large simple daisy, masked and stamped two more.  I added the giraffe from African Animals .  I think I'll call her Daisy. I thought it looked a bit empty so I stamped more daisies...... and coloured with distress and d y e inks.  I stamped and embossed three of the doodled flowers and the giraffe, fussy cut and added them to my panel.  I used brads and a Cheery Lynn die cut for the flower centers.  I also doodled a little faux stitching
