CAS-ual Friday card with Asia


Hello everyone and happy Friday to you all! 

Weekend is almost here, so cool! And today I wanted to show you an easy and quick card I've created with gorgeous Rubber Dance stamps sets- Antique Botanicals, Think Again & Crazy Flowers #2.












As I said before the card is really easy to make- perfect project for Friday evening;) You need a cardstock, background layer of paper which I painted in yellow and green and white top layer of paper. I stamped the flowers and leaves on the watercolor paper and before I fussy-cut them I added the colors. Firstly I sprayed on some water, then applied Lindy's sprays with a brush. I added few shades of each colors to get more watercolor effect and after drying it all I fussy cut it. Flowers were adhered to the card with 3D foam tape, leaves- with a tacky glue and this way I got more dimension. Then I added some navy blue berries, few drops of Glossy accents which looks like a morning dew and a word "Love". This word was stamped with Archival Ink on the same watercolor paper I've used earlier and it comes from the stamp set Think Again.

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from.
