LOVE cards with Loose Flowers by Mariken

Image
Hi everyone,  Mariken here, with two cards, using the stamps Loose Florals #1' , ' Doodle Borders #2 ' and 'Fish, Swim, Love '.  I started making a background with my gelliplate, see here below.  I used acrylic paint and several stencils. I cut out the white cards and my gelliprints backgrounds and glued the front and the back together. After that I stamped my 'Loose Flowers' and colored them with watercolor and glued them on my cards. I finished the cards with black borders and a little LOVE sentiment.   The stamps I used:  A little reminder that our Mood Board Challenge June continues in the Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge on Facebook. We hope to see you there. Thank you so much for your visit! Mariken XX

Hi everyone! Today I wil show you how you make four cards and a little one, from a left-over.   Here are two of the finished cards.   Ok, let's start!... I used my gelliplate to create a colorful background, starting with three colors of Dina Wakley Acrylic Media Paint. I cut out some waves and put them on a striped blue background and printed my yellow-orange-pink background again. I added some dots on the waves and then the prints and white basic cards are cut into the right size. On Mixed media paper I added little drops of Liquitex acrylic inks and sprayed them with water. Now it's time for the details!  I used the stampset Textured Sea Creatures and embossed the little elements with white WOW embossing powder. Then I made some bubbles with the stamp from Round in Circles .  I colored them white with a posca marker. The finishing touch... I stamped the outlines with Do...

Good Day All, Today it's my pleasure to share with you another project I've created using the wonderful Red Rubber Stamps by Rubber Dance Stamps .  For Today's project I used the super cute 'Fish Swim Love' set of stamps; I've combined them with a background I created on a Round Gelli Plate with Paint Pens. Here's a peek at my finished card; First of all I'd like to show you how I created the background scene for my Fishes.  I used a Round Gelli Plate along with a selection of Posca Paint Pens. The first layer in green, Then pale blue, Followed by dark blue, The Final Layer of Paint Pens in brown and black. I then sponged on a layer of Prussian Blue, Cerulean Blue and Titanium White blended together. Finally I pulled my print to reveal my background scene. I then stamped out some Fish, A large one onto a piece of Yellow Gelli Print, and the small fish I stamped in orange, pink and purple. Next I die cut...
