June Recap - Lots of Inspirations

Image
Hi everyone! It's time for our monthly recap! June is already over and we have to share a big bunch of inspirations today! At first, let's have a look on our June stamp release! We had four brand new stamp sets released this month! Aren't these awesome??? The designers have had such fun using these brand new stamps! Here are some of the things they've made with them: Fish Diet by Melina:  Hydrangea: We've used a variety of colours, see how different they look! by Debs:   by Bibi: Art journal spread. I stamped the flower three times to get a bigger one. Fish, Swim, Love   by Melina: Joy in a Jar By Debs: Do you like colourful or black and white? Oh, look! Shiny!! Stamped with glue, pink foil on top:   Debs also made this lovely keyring out of shrink plastic: Bibi, using the same stamp as a floral border: Bibi played with one...

Hello everyone Debs here today with my take on this week’s Clean and Simple style, and I have a card for you using the stamp I designed, Hydrangea ! This really was a quick card to make and so I hope it inspires you to try this style. First I stamped the Hydrangea and dried it.  With a brush and clear water I painted around the stamped area. To this  I added my pigment (watercolour paints) and before it dried used a clean tissue and lifted off some of the colour. Next I focused on the stamped areas, again using my paint gave them several layers building up the shadows and highlights. Finally I added the sentiment. You can purchase this, and many other wonderful stamps from the Rubber Dance shop Hydrangea Take care and I’ll see you soon  Hugs xxx
