Tutorial Tuesday, art journal page by Asia

Hi everyone :)

It's Asia here with my short video tutorial. Today I've prepared for you an art journal page (which at some point will be made into an real and hopefully bulky art journal;) I wanted to share with you two techniques I've used here: adding color with a piece of acetate and embossing with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder. I used Rubber Dance Collage Elements stamp set- one of my fav sets ever!

This is really col, Asia! Clever idea to use the acetate to add ink, so you see where it ends up. Love how the stamped man and wings turned out after clear embossing.

Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour. Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!)
