Shrink Plastic and Ladybirds

Hello.  Gail here today and I have been having fun with some of the new stamp sets and shrink plastic.   


I started by stamping the small ladybird from the Things With Wings, masking and then stamping Mix A Sentiment stamp.  I cut out the panel and mounted it on this cute little matchbook I made.


It opens up to reveal


Shrink plastic Ladybird necklace and earrings!!  I stamped the large Ladybird on white shrink plastic and coloured with distress ink.  The small ones were stamped on clear shrink plastic, so the design shows on both sides.

Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) I want to fly!

I used one of the Aztec images from the set * Aztec Art Dolls *. Altered Chipboard Butterfly + Giveaway

Bibi here today with a fun project, using the Totem Monarch Poppet chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts . I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project.
