Easy Greeting Card with Distress Inks and one Embossing Folder

Hi there!

Susanne writing today, I have to share a very quick and easy card with our Crazy Flowers stamps.

I used Distress Inks together with an embossing folder to create the background. I inked up the folder before I embossed a piece of watercolor paper with Pine Needles. The rest of the colour was added by squishing the ink onto my glass plate. I gave it a spritz of water and dipped the paper into it. I used Fired Brick and Walnut Stain.
My main image, the flower, is stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper that was coloured with Distress Inks before. I cut it out and adhered it to another piece of white paper. I cut this also to add some white space at the outside of the flower. This makes it pop more from the background.
My sentiment is embossed onto black cardstock. It comes with the Floral Wreath stamp set.
I added some glitter washi tape to the bottom of my cardbase before I adhered my front.
You will find a process video at the end of this post.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon.
xx Susanne.
