Beautiful page, Debs! I love how the woman seems to be dancing between the leaves. It gives me a feeling of summer, which is nice now that it's below freezing outside! Thanks for sharing! ♥ ♥ ♥

A Christmas Flip Flop Book

Good morning and happy Sunday. It's Sue here and I'm happy to be sharing another Christmas project with you, a flip-flop book. We've recently had a new release of fabulous, fun, Winter/Christmas stamps, so I was keen to try them out, and there's also some old favourites in here too. I've made a pre-cut flip-flop book before, but never one from scratch. I started with a piece of A3 black card and drew it out. All of the squares are 3.5 inches (I've very old school, non of this metric mullarkey) This was the largest I could get on the card and still have an easy to see measurement. I then cut this out with my old Fiskars trimmer. For my first layer I cut 10 pieces of blue patterned paper and gessoed the edges. These are all 3.25 inches Then I cut 10 pieces of watercolour card into 3 inch squares. That's it now, no more measuring thank goodness! Now for the fun part! Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

How to make a pile of cards in less than an hour! Hey everyone! If you are in need of a bunch of cards, I'll show you how to make them real quick and easy. Most of my cards took between 5 to 10 minutes to make! Sometimes we might want to spend a whole day making just one elaborated card, but now that December is here for real, some of us are running out of time ... It's better to send a simple card than none at all, right? Most of my cards were made using stamps from the Rubber Dance set called Watercolour Xmas . If you don't have that one, look in your stash and see what you can find that would work for the easy technique I've used. I bet you have some stamps that will work! (Or order them here - you should have them within a week if you live in Europe, unless the postal service is really slow right now). You will need watercolour paper for this technique. A Day to Celebrate + GIVEAWAY!

Hello, dear stamping friends all over the world!  Bibi here today with  THREE things to celebrate! Today is the Norwegian National Day , which is celebrated with childrens' parades and marching bands all over  the country. The proper way to greet a Norwegian on May 17th is to say, "Gratulerer med dagen!" (Literally:  Congratulations with the day ). This photo is from a parade in Oslo: May 17th is also my mum's birthday and today she's turning 75! After watching the parades, we're celebrating mum's big day with family and friends at her place. I have always made birthday cards for mum using the colours of our flag (red, white and blue), but this year I did something different and I know she likes these colours, too.
