Rubber Dance Art Stamps - Blog

 Hi everyone, I can't get the Mandalas out of my mind this month, so today I'm sharing another card using one of the stamps from this set. This time I've teamed it up with the beautiful Dancing Woman. A true classic! The colours of our Mood Board are so soft and feminine this  month and I think the Dancing Woman goes well with this theme. Here are a few pictures that I took along the way while making this card. I stamped a stamp from Carved Collection #3 then stamped a Mandala stamp over the top of it. Masking off the Mandala , I faintly stamped Da Vinci Woman #1 so that she  is peering out from behind the Mandala.  She will be watching over the Dancing Woman. The leaves are from Sketchy Flowers #3. I used a part of one of the flower stamps as that  is all that was needed. There is something very relaxing about colour in  Mandalas don't you think?  Hi everyone, Do you ever just use stamps on their own  as a challenge to yourself? It is one of my favourite things to do. Today's tutorial shows a card that is all stamping with a splash of pink and grey. I hope you enjoy it. The stamp sets used are Dancing Woman , Antique Botanicals and I Love Leaves. I started by making some masks. The flowers and the Dancing Woman were stamped onto photo copy paper and then cut out. Remember that when you make a mask you cut inside the image. Stamp the flowers. They look random, however I practiced on some scrap paper first so that they would be in the right positions. I didn't want the lady to be covered up. Carefully place the flower masks over the top of the flowers then stamp the Dancing Woman . I've added a little rustic water colouring with Distress Ink to the lady's dress and skin. Welcome to Simplicity Sunday. Today I've a very simple card to share with you. I've used the Dancing Woman stamp as the main piece for this one. Firstly I've blended some Iced Spruce Distress Ink onto some scrap cardstock and made sure it was thoroughly dry. I dabbed an anti-static pad over it and stamped the image with Versamark ink and then added white embossing powder.  Heating it to melt the EP. To make the lady stand out a little more I've blended some Black Soot around the edges before cutting it out. I matted this onto white, then black card. For the larger background I've used the Textured Flowers stamp set.  I coloured some scrap card with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink, stamped some flowers and cut them out.  The background has some circles from this set randomly stamped onto the card. Hello everyone,  I always get so excited when it's my turn to share a project. This time I've made a quick tutorial for you using the beautiful Dancing Woman stamp from Rubber Dance. She is seriously one of the most feminine stamps around and I wanted to show that side of her to you on this tag. Firstly, I've stamped her onto tissue paper (the smooth side) with StaZon and used a water brush to gently tear away the excess tissue paper. I flipped it over and painted her dress, and flowers, with slightly watered down white acrylic paint.  The background is made by dragging some acrylic paint (Dina Wakely Media paint in Umber) over some cardstock with an old credit card. I've swiped it in different directions. Then I've used white acrylic paint in random areas around the edge. It looks a little messy, but that's okay.
