Mixed Media Made Easy Art Journal Style Cards with video Tutorial by Gerry

Hi lovely Rubber Dance friends, it's Gerry on the blog today with some easy mixed media art journal style cards. And I have a video tutorial were I explain it all.

Make sure to watch the video to see all techniques in action, there are lots of layers on the background done in different ways besides the fun painting technique.

I made a background on A4 size paper with paint and a wet wipe a fun and easy way to colour your paper. I used four colours dylusions paint.

I used the old bookpage, Mix A Sentiment #2 and Grungy Harlequin for the added texture.
For that I used different colours ink, Distress Oxide and Versafine Clair.

Here is the finished background with all the layers ready to cut to size for cards

I stamped and fussy cut the Textured Flowers and made a composition on the card.

I added the Mix A Sentiment words stamped and heat embossed in white on black paper. And I added some Pearls, Mini Prils and Crystals for extra dimension, shimmer and sparkle.

I used the same flowers and word stamps for all cards but I made different compositions to get different end results.

I hope you liked this post and make sure to keep on crafting!
