DECEMBER INSPIRATION

Hello Rubber Dance fans.  Welcome to December!!!  Gail here today to kick off the last month of this year here at the Rubber Dance blog. 

We are changing the inspiration format a little to use a moodboard.  You can be inspired by anything on the moodboard, colours, things, shapes, mood etc and add your picture of your project in the album in the fb group.


 Our monthly challenges are now based in our FB fan group.   Link up your makes and you might be the winner of a voucher to the store.

We will be posting a little less frequently this month so the team can relax a bit in the run up to Christmas, but here's some inspiration to get us started.....

Evelyn is sharing a beautiful butterfly in winter layout using Butterfly Girl#1, Mix A Sentiment #1 and Vintage Script stamps


 

Gerry made these beautiful cards using Grungy Harlequin, Old Bookpage, Textured Mushrooms and Journal Words stamps.


Majo made this lovely tag using stamps from Affirmations and 
small bubbles from Whale Wishes.


Mariken used stamps from Grungy Butterflies 2, Mix A Sentiment #2 and  
Affirmations to make this lovely card.


Saadia made this gorgeous mixed media piece using stamps from

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. So, here you go - our three challenge colours for June and a not-so-very surprising (although optional) theme: We need to see you using all three colours for your entries. Please check  our simple rules  before you link up You must use stamping, but you do not have to use stamps from Rubber Dance in order to participate. The challenge runs till June 30th. CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). Rubber Dance Stamp Challenge - October

After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
