Da Vinci layered cards
Hi everyone, it's Liesbeth here showing you two cards I made using the wonderful Da Vinci plate! I also used stamps from Round in Circles and Travel. These three plates are so perfect to combine! They're built up in layers with many different inks, spray and paint. Here's how to create them:
Take a piece of white cardstock and sponge a thin layer of light and dark Distress Paint using different stencils, at the right and left edge. After drying, sponge big coloured areas with Distress inks: I used pink, purple and yellow and on the other card blue, orange and yellow. The paint works as a resist! Spray a tiny bit of Dylusions spray onto two corners of the card (I used pink and blue). Stamp the women with StazOn Jet Black and mask them with masking paper. Then stamp the flower here and there with orange StazOn (blue/orange card) and some circles with pink StazOn onto the other card. Cover the card with a stencil and sponge lightly with Distress ink Chipped Sapphire from corner to corner. Stamp every other image (like texts, Eiffel tower, horse, pears, small flowers etc) with black StazOn, and sponge a shadow on the edges of the mask and the card by using Distress ink Black soot. Remove the masking paper and bleach the women, pears, flowers with pure bleach and a (synthetic) brush. The bleach will not bleach the paint, so what you get is a wonderful 'transparent' look! After drying finish the card by colouring the faces a bit with colour pencils. Mat onto coloured cardstock.

Love the stamps you used. I looked at THE whole range of the Rubber Dance Stamps and they are great!
I was always wondering how these cards were made and now I can give it a try.
Hope I will succeed.
