Beach Safari Postcard
Hello.
Welcome. Gail from the design team here. Isn't it strange where our
inspiration comes from? I was having an email conversation with Bibi
the other day and she mentioned the stamp sets Retro Beach and African Animals
in the same sentence. Suddenly the cogs are turning and strange ideas
are in the air. So I thought I'd try and capture a few.
My postcard was inspired by the colours of this month's Rubber Dance challenge:
I started making a background with Brusho's. Brown, light brown, yellow and orange.
I stamped some of the animals from Rubber Dance African Animals set using Tea Dye distress ink. I wanted a dreamy look.
I stamped, masked, stamped, masked, stamped etc etc..... Also using stamps from Travel and ATC Backgrounds 1
I added a MDF shape from Things to Alter and die cut the words using a sizzix die. I stamped the girl from Take the Plunge and extended the grassy hill and the water. The perfect sentiment is also from the Travel set
Maybe she's dreaming of African safaris and European tours.

This is a funny combination of stamps, African Animals on the beach - but why not? As long as they're not locked up in a zoo or working at a circus, I'm happy! :-)
Love the Brusho background and also how you added more grass and water to the beach girl stamp.
Many thanks for sharing with us at FSC.
