New Challenge - May!


Hello everyone, and welcome to a new month and a new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog. This time we've made a selection of soft vintage colours for you to use in your lovely creations:


We need to see you using all three colours for your entries.


Please check our simple rules before you link up


You must use stamping, but you do not have to use stamps from Rubber Dance in order to participate. The challenge runs till May 31st.

Our randomly chosen WINNER receives a voucher worth 20 Euros 
to spend in the Rubber Dance web shop!

The DT's Pick of the Month will be an entry 
where stamps from Rubber Dance have been used. 
No prize other than fame and glory - and of course a bragging badge 
to display on your blog's sidebar if you like (and we're sure you do!)

    Winners will be announced on our blog on the 7th of June, 
    so remember to check back to see if you won.

    PS: It was a Blogger setting problem, not Linky as such. If you see a "https" in the beginning of the URL, it messes with the Linky tool. It should say "http", or nothing at all.

    CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

    The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon).     Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

    Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour. I've used totally different colours so that I've got a choice of colours for my toppers. I've used metallics on this one and they are really nice! For the 'in between
