Two Mixed Media Tags with Doodle Flowers

Image
Hey everyone, i'm back with two Mixed Media Tags, using the Doodle Flower Stamps. I've used some Gelliprints in the background. I made some of my prints into collages and had them printed at the print house. The Flowers are just black and white with some gold splatters. The background is so colorful, right? I hope you like them. Why not try leaving the flowers uncoloured? I think the effect is very beautiful, and what about you? Enjoy your day and stay crafty! Art journal Page Textured Flowers

Image
Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration Monday. How are you all? I've been playing with,   Mixed Media Marks ,   Pencil Marks # 1 ,   Grungy Stuff   and   Textured Flowers   to create a page in my little art journal. I hope you like it. I started by cutting watercolor paper into a square, 4x4 inch format, adding color with pigments. To speed up the drying process, help me with a dryer.  To add texture, use multiple stamps with inks in shades similar to the background. Once dry, I make some white splashes, to integrate the background I choose one of the stamps from the game, Textured Flowers, and stamp it on book sheets. I do not color it, so that it contrasts with the colorful background. One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is usually the part that takes me the most. Now I leave you some photos with details of the project.I hope you like it as much as I do when making them. ...

Hello everyone!! Josi Tomàs here. It's only two days until my birthday. A year ago we were able to celebrate it in a strange way but this year is a little different and so I am happy and at peace. Yet I make a wish.  I wish that all people are at peace and can leave behind these bad memories that we all have. This tag is a permanent reminder of that wish.  I leave you below the step by step and video for to do it together...       _____________________________________ STEP BY STEP 1.  Create a background with Gelliplate sheets and Susanne's gift to welcome me to the DT team. I did it by forming wrinkles to give texture. 2. Stamp different stamps over background with a black ink. 3. Apply gold acrylic paint with fingers (the effect stands our more on wrinkles). Apply with spatula "antique gesso" by Cadence (you can choose another mediums. It's just to give it an antique effect). 5. Finally decorate with a composition. I choose a baby wipe tha...

ATCs with Purr-fect cats by Priss BlaFu

Hello, Rubber Dance lovers!! Today is my turn Priss ( @artful.layers ) with quick and easy Artist Trading Cards using the lovely cutie cats of the set  Purr-fect! . First, I cut two pieces of black cardstock to the size of 3.5 x 2.5 inches. Then I glued one of my dark blue painted papers with some metallic pink splatters to them . I love, love, love, layering my backgrounds, so I stamped some paws on it and used white embossing powder. Also some marks with my favourite stamp of the set    Mixed Media Marks . Finally, some black splashes (another of my favourite techniques). With black gelato, I distressed all the borders I painted my cats with Watercolour markers and added the sentiments with stamps of the set Mix A Sentiment 1  (a perfect way to create your own sentiments). Now I'll leave you with some detailed pictures and hope you enjoy creating thing with our stamps and inspiration. XOXO!!! Priss These are the stamps I used Purr-fect! Mixed Media Mark...

Cardmaking with Dot Leathbridge

Image
Hello everyone, It's my turn to share some inspiration with you today. Not everything works out the way we would like it to does it? This card background is a gelli plate image transfer that didn't really work. After a little bit of "fiddling" and a little Rubber Dance magic I think it has turned out well. The image transfer background didn't quite work, it looked wish-washy and pale with the image was barely visible. The background areas were coloured with pencils to help the transfer image of the female to pop a little. Along with some black fine liner to help some areas stand out on her face. I made a rough mask with photo copy paper.  Really, it was nothing fancy!  Just enough for what I wanted to try though. Then using La Luna I stamped the image so that it is a little behind the image transfer. See how she is just poking out? I added some colours to her using this month's Mood Board for inspiration. I thought it would be kind of cool to have another fe...

Tagbook with Grungy Butterflies by Mariken

Image
Hi everyone,  Mariken here, with a tutorial for you,  making these five tags. When finished I made a little tag book from the five tags.  And I will add more... For this project I used  Grungy Stuff , Pencil Marks 1 , Loose florals #2 and Grungy Butterflies .   I  made a background using my gelliplate and  added marks with white acrylicpaint and black ink. Here below you can see the result. For the butterflies I used my left-overs and stamped them with black ink and cut them out. I colored the little circles with acrylic markers.  Then I made the tags and glue the butterflies on the tags.   When finished I made the start of a little tag book.  Soon I will add more tags and hopefully I can make a colorfull little book... The stamps I used:   Grungy Butterflies . Grungy Stuff   Pencil Marks 1     Loose florals #2  And at last a little reminder that our beautiful Mood Board March  continues in the  Ru...
