*Fishy* Penholder ► Majo

Image
Good Morning, folks! Majo here today to show you a little tutorial for a penholder . I make them a lot since I always love to have a little present at hand when needed. I fill it with treats, tea bags, herbs pouches or anything you can think off. This is how I made it: I cut a piece of watercolor paper the size that would fit the pen holder on all 4 sides, added water diluted distress ink and stamped my images. I took off some of the ink with some bleach and colored the fishes with Ko-I-Noor Pencils   I colored the edges of the pen holder with acrylic paint. I cut the panel apart and added some accents with a Viva Paper Pen. I adhered the panels to the sides and distressed the edges a bit. The upper inside was covered with strips of Washi Tape. Here you can see all sides of the pen holder ... Rubber Dance stamp set used: Fish Swim Love Doodle Flowers Thanks so much for stopping by, Happy Week a...

Magic Fish Card

Image
Hi Everyone, Cornelia here today. I love interactive card and especially those magic cards, where the color all of a sudden appears. So here you see the card with the slider in and below its out. My Stamp supplies: Fish Diet  Such a hilarious set, isn't it? And that's how I made this card: I stamped the fish I colored it with Inktense Stamped the fish again onto a clear acrylic sheet Took blue card stick and cut it to size Glued the colored and clear fish in, so they perfectly overlap Made the slider and added stops to the blue card base, so you don't pull it out accidentally and then glued it all together. I also added some green paper to the end of the slider, decorated it and decorated my blue frame. It's better to do this beforehand, because if you don't use heat resistant acrylic it can warp... And now the color magically appears if you pull the slider. See! You can make this in any ...

Hi everyone, Saadia here with a quick and easy art journal page. I hope you like it and give it a try. Lets start our journal page: I took a 5.5 x8. 5 inches watercolor paper and sprayed Dylusions ink sprays on it. I wanted a very bright and happy page and so I chose Dylusions sprays. Next I did a bit of stenciling with different stencils. I used acrylic paints for stenciling. I also did a bit of background stamping with Archival inks. After that I stamped stars from Grungy stuff stamp set onto a paper and fussy cut them. Glued the stars and my sentiment from Think again stamp set, onto my journal page. Finally added few paint splatters and doodling. That's all for now. Thank you for your precious time. A reminder that we have a challenge that goes all month on our face book page which you can find  Here It is always ANYTHING GOES/ or a colour combo if you wish Take care and stay blessed.
