"Bold and Beautiful" Flower card by Evelyn

Hello and happy Monday, it´s Evelyn here today!

For my very first post as DT member I made a flower card with the wonderful stamp set "Bold and Beautiful".

I loved the colors from the moodboard of this month´s challenge, so I decided to use them for my second project too.

I took a piece of cardstock and added a coat of clear gesso. Then I stamped the beautiful flowers from the Bold and Beautiful stamp set with versamark and scrubbed perfect pearls on top. Unfortunately it´s hardly visible on the photos.

Then I colored the paper with lime green starburst mist from Lindy´s Stamp Gang and added some dripplets in pink. For more interest I stamped the tiny dots and hearts from the Textured Spring stamp set randomly.

For my focal point  I stamped the flowers with black Archival ink on specialty stamping paper and colored everything with distress oxides. I matted the paper with a used baby wipe, some tags and flowers.

Now I only had to add to add the sentiment, printed with a label maker, and distressed with brown ink.

I hope you feel a little bit inspired to join in with our facebook challenge this month!
