Hello lovely crafty friends, it's Gerry on the blog today with another art journal page with some fun layers to show you. I use lots of different products to create this fun look among them the gorgeous Rubber Dance textured flowers and grungy borders.



I used the stitching on the hearts from the Rubber Dance Grungy Borders stamp set

Hi everyone! It's Susanne writing today. I used Distress Inks together with some of our Crazy Flowers to create the page in this art journal. It's a watercolor journal from Kunst & Papier, it's one of my favourites to use with Ink and watercolors. I didn't use any gesso to prime my page. The flowers are embossed with white powder on watercolor paper. I coloured them in in complementary colours, by dipping them into the Distress Inks, to let them pop from the background. Rubber Dance June Challenge

Hello everyone and welcome to a new month and a brand new challenge here at the Rubber Dance blog!  For most of us up here in the north, June is the first month of summer and with summer come flowers in bright and happy colours. So, here you go - our three challenge colours for June and a not-so-very surprising (although optional) theme: We need to see you using all three colours for your entries. Altered Chipboard Butterfly + Giveaway

Bibi here today with a fun project, using the Totem Monarch Poppet chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts . I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project. A Day to Celebrate + GIVEAWAY!

Hello, dear stamping friends all over the world!  Bibi here today with  THREE things to celebrate! Today is the Norwegian National Day , which is celebrated with childrens' parades and marching bands all over  the country. The proper way to greet a Norwegian on May 17th is to say, "Gratulerer med dagen!" (Literally:  Congratulations with the day ). This photo is from a parade in Oslo: May 17th is also my mum's birthday and today she's turning 75! After watching the parades, we're celebrating mum's big day with family and friends at her place. I have always made birthday cards for mum using the colours of our flag (red, white and blue), but this year I did something different and I know she likes these colours, too.
