July Challenge Reminder

Hello everyone! If you are lucky enough to have been on your holidays already - or are just longing for the next one (like me!) then perhaps July's Challenge will get your creative juices flowing. 


Our (optional) challenge theme is TRAVEL AND VACATION and we've chosen a lovely vintage palette to go with the theme this time around.


There's an amazing bundle of stamps up for grabs to a randomly selected winner and of course the honour for one person of being our DT Pick of the Month!

For my reminder post this month I created an ATC triptych using a number of travel-themed stamps, ink sprays and masking techniques. If you want to know more there's some info over on my own blog.

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour. I've used totally different colours so that I've got a choice of colours for my toppers. I've used metallics on this one and they are really nice! For the 'in between
