Be true with your Mixed Media art


Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here and this is my altered new canvas made with Rubber Dance stamps and Tando Creative masks.


First I made the texture over the background with pieces of paper, chalkboard paint and a lot of misting. Then I made the masked images with texture paste and then stamped over the dry (wait a lot) background and added white shadows around the images.




All stamps are from Rubber Dance:
I used a stamp from the Something Wonderful sentiment set, leaves from Twiggy  Leaves set and made a kind of a frame around with the Fluorishes stamp.

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
