The Adorable Guinea Pig Journal Page by Priss

Image
I'm  Priss  and welcome you to today's inspiration with the cutest stamps by Rubber Dance. You will find more interesting inspirations with the  Guinea Pig  set here . And with the  Night & Day Big  set here , here , and here . This time I created another page for my Rubber Dance Stamps Squared Art Journal. For the background, I used Distress Oxide Inks inspired by the colors of our October Mood Board (Yellow, Orange, and Storm blue). Then I sprayed some water to lift the colors.  To make it more interesting I stamped some marks, with the mini rainbows of the  Carved Collection 1  set, and some black inked borders with the  Mixed Media Borders  set.  As usual, I did some splashes for the finishing touch. This time I used Oxide Inks with similar colors and finally my special mix of white. After that, I applied other markings with a leaf stencil and brown ink. I didn't take a shot of that part, but I'll leave y...

Autumn Silhouette by Angie Coomber

Image
Hi arty friends, Angie here with a paper silhouette for you. I've always been fascinated with these since I was a child and decided to create one with our lovely Carved Collection and Pencil Marks stamps - these are brilliant for paper cutting because of the simple designs. First I stamped the images on white mixed media paper. I cut out the smallest pieces with a craft knife before cutting the individual flowers and leaves with scissors - that way there is less risk of tearing the paper. For the background I chose an A5 piece of black card, which I splattered with a little bit of watered down white paint. Next I glued my cut out flowers and leaves onto the black card and used a silver gel pen to draw a single line around the edge just to frame the whole thing. Simple but effective I think? Until next time, hugs from Angie x Stamps used: Carved Collection #5 Carved Collection #1 Pencil Marks #3

Be authentic by Lisa

Hi friends! I'm Lisa (@lisa.rabellino) again with you with a new art journal inspiration for Rubber Dance design team.  I have created the background using yellow and teal  acrylic paints applied with palette knife and combined with white paint to create a little contrast. I chose Pencil Marks #3 clear stamps and I used some designs on the page with archival inks. I used a little birdie from Textured Birds clear stamps set and a sticker for the sentiment. As final touch I made some splatters with fuchsia liquid paint. I used these products from the shop: https://www.rubberdance.de/clear-stamps/pencil-marks-3-clear-0004/#cc-m-product-14534934633 https://www.rubberdance.de/clear-stamps/textured-birds-clear-0005/#cc-m-product-14534921633 I hope you enjoyed my art journal inspiration for you! Hugs, Lisa

Be You by Samantha Read

Hello, Samantha with you today. I recently received some new clear Rubber Dance stamps and couldn't wait to use them so made this page for my art journal. If you're used to red rubber don't worry, the clear stamps are a wonderful quality and they stamp beautifully.  For my page I created the background by painting the colours, adding white gesso through a stencil and the spraying some lustre paints over the top and stamping in a neutral grey. Little bits of washi tape grounded the components which had been stamped on white card and then adhered in place, the coloured foliage, bird and rainbow. To finish I added some arty splats and the text. Here are the stamps I used if you would like to go shopping, just click on them:  Sketchy Birds (Clear) and Pencil Marks #3  For more inspiration and the chance to join in the monthly challenge, please join us on Facebook in the Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge, right here . Thanks so much for looking, have a lovely day, Sam :) x

"Two 2 Four" with new clear stamps by Farida

Image
Hello Lovelies, I just started creating and than get the idea to have an new little challenge series for me.... "Two 2 Four". So let's come with me and read about my new idea.  First of all I got my hands on the new clear stamps... so I wanted to use the ' Pencil Marks #3 ' Stamp set. I choosed the large leaves branch and the rainbow. First I stamped them one time on watercolour paper and one time on marker paper.  And then I thought of the idea of doing two same cards with one image, using watercolours and alcohol maker to colour them in.  I tried some kind of loose or offset colouring on the leaves with my watercolours and afterwards made some colour splotches over it.  I like this kind of easy and loose colouring, thats why I used it to colour the rainbow the same way.  Next I tried to achieve a almost similiar looking colouring using my alcohol markers. Its not really looking the same, but I like them too how they came out. To turn the panels into a card, I ...

Be you!!! a mixed media Tag by Priss

Image
Hi, Rubber Dance's friends!! Priss BlaFu writes you today. I'd like to share with you this tag that I made testing the new clear stamps. And I love them so much.  The steps are so easy. I cut a piece of watercolor paper and made a tag with it.  I just wanted to play with water and pigments, so I made two different ones, and of course, I kept the more intense blue. Then I stamped half mandala with white embossing powder. I punched some pieces of cardstock with dies and also ripped some old book pages. On the book pages, I stamped some  Mixed Media Borders  and filled some areas of the stamp with my white gel pen. Over watercolor paper, I stamped the gorgeous leaves from the set  Pencil Marks #3 . I admit that this stamp is my favorite of this set.  Then I colored with my pigments as if they were watercolors. For the composition of the elements, I sewed the stack of papers vertically to the tag, and glued a tangle of threads on top. Also,...
