 Hello creative friends! It´s Melina here today sharing an art journal page. Last time I made a balloon out of a pineapple, and this time I turn the balloon into a pineapple... I used the  In the Air  and  Be a Pineapple  stamp sets to create the pineapple, and I added  the tropical, floral touch using the Weed Love  stamp set. This page is just another proof of that ;) I like to take the stamps I´ve got and mix and match them to create new images. What about this quirky balloon? Hello Rubber Dance friends.  Gail here with a card I made the other day using Rubber Dance In The Air and Whimsical Summer stamps and a lot of colour. I started with a gold base card and found a black panel that had this circle aperture already cut.  I cut the edge with a postage stamp die and added a similarly cut hot pink layer.  I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the balloon and sun-flower cloud from the In The Air set.  The hill is from the Whimsical Summer set.  I stamped and coloured it and fussy cut so I could have the flowers spilling out onto the black frame.  I arranged the balloon and flower cloud so they also overlapped the frame and embossed a Norwegian Happy Birthday sentiment to finish. Hi Everyone, Saadia here with an art journal spread for you. I hope you like it. I made the background with acrylic paints, stencils and a little bit of modeling paste. I used  Butterfly girl 2  as my focal image and added the sun and cloud image from  In the air  stamp set. The words are from  Journal Words  stamp. That's all for now. Hi everyone, it's my turn to share something with you today and I've teamed In The Air with Dancing Star . The balloon from In The Air needed was crying out for someone to go for a ride. After looking through my collection I found the lady from Dancing Star . You could, of course, use any of the Celestial girls. They are are great size to pop into the basket. Here are some close up pics for you ... The sky background has been made with Brushos. The stars are from What A Girl Wants and were white embossed. The colouring has been done with watercolours. Hello crafty friends! It´s Melina here today sharing these hot air ballons. I´ll take you through the process of making them step by step below. I stamp the balloon from the In the Air stamp set 8 times to make one balloon. I decided to make three balloons, but fortunately the balloon is really easy to cut out. When the 8 balloons are cut out, fold them in half. No, the balloon is not perfectly symetric - the design is hand drawn after all ;) Glue the pieces together back to back until you get a 3D balloon like this. Go over the edges with a matching ink, and you´ll never notice  it´s not perfect. Or, use a scissors and trim the edges so they get perfectly even. Stamp the basket - 2 times for each balloon. Cut the bottom and top straight and glue the 2 pieces together forming a little tube. To be able to hang the balloon, pass a double sewing thread through the middle space of the balloon and use a bead as a stop...

Hi! It´s Melina here today, and I´ve been playing with the awesome new stamp set Journal Notes along with the In The Air and Things With Wings stamp sets. Recently I was very lucky to find notebooks from IKEA on sale.  I bought 5 of them (blank pages) with the idea of starting to make my  own planner journals. No, I´m not a planner girl,  but I can become one right!? :) Here´s the first spread I made. On this spread I stamped the "lined box" directly into my book to create a square for each day of the week. I then decorated the page using the  balloon from the In The Air stamp set. Here´s my second spread. On this spread I stared to apply Archival Inks. I then used the small stamps from the Journal Notes stamp set to create patterns and interest to the background.
