Tri-Fold Tag Card

Image
Hello Rubber Dance friends.  Gail here with a tri-fold tag card.   This is the front of the card And it opens up like this I started with a 20 x 30 cm piece of green Bazzill Dots card.  I folded it in three, cut the corners to give my tag shape and inked the edges. I cut my tags from Authentique designer card using a Stamplorations stitched tag die.  I stamped the girl from This Is Me and hearts, grid and scribbly circles from Mixed Media Marks in shades of pink.  I added a girl die cut from peach card.  More hearts and stitches from Mixed Media Marks and the girl from Believe In You stamped in shades of pink. I've added a pocket on this tag so I can include a gift card or cash.  The balloon is die cut and embossed.  All the black stamped words come from both This Is Me and Believe In You .  I added some jumbo pebble brads to the top of each tag.   Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you feel inspired to get out your sta...

Loose Art Journal page by Angie Coomber

Image
Hello arty friends, how is the new year treating you? I'm finding myself doing quite a lot of art journaling at the moment, just putting down my thoughts in these strange and sometimes tricky times. This time I have a loose art journal page to show you, I hope you like it. I started by glueing some bits and pieces of ephemera onto my page. Next I painted over this in one of my favourite colour combinations, pink, orange, turquoise and a little bit of white. I stamped my focal image on some tissue paper, tore the image out and glued it to the page using gel medium. I added some stencilling with the same colour paints, trying to incorporate the edges of the image into the background. Next I did a little background stamping and white stencilling, followed by some white paint which I applied with my fingers. Finally I added some black paint splatter, more background stamping, some punched hearts and a quote (one of my all time favourites!) Stay safe! Hugs from Angie x Stamps used: Bel...

This Is Me by Gail

Image
Hello Rubber Dance friends.  Gail here today, and I'd just like to say this is not mixed media LOL.   Quite rare for me, cos I do like to mix and match my mediums, but this one is pure Archival ink. I started with a brick patterned card base.  I have lots of designer paper and card and picking a nice base is all part of the fun.  I stamped the girl from This Is Me and sentiments from  Believe In You using black archival ink.  I masked the girl and then I used about half of the stamps from the Mixed Media Marks set and lots of different archival ink colours and stamped with glorious abandon.   Done! Thanks for dropping by.  Hope you feel inspired to create something beautiful today. Don't forget to check out the Rubber Dance webshop .  There is a selection of stamps on special offer so hop over and check out the sale.   The new January release is available for pre-order now and on offer until the 11th January ! ...

Strong Heart Card by Dot Leathbridge

Hello everyone, The last of my Christmas visitors left today and all is quiet in the house today. It's time to set up my craft table again and have a little crafting fun. I hope that you have all had a wonderful few days over Christmas. Today's card is one that was made using Believe In You along with Old Book Page and Doodle Borders #2 . I think with Covid we see so many people with a "good heart" and that was what was on my mind when making this card. This is a nice and easy card to make that is filled with a wonderful message. Susanne has a beautiful way with words when she designs the stamp sets for Rubber Dance. Here is a closer look at the card. This is around the half way mark of the card. I had stamped the lady and masked her off to begin with. The stenciled background was added with a soft layer of ink. Then some 2nd generation stamping using a Doodle Border stamp that gives the impression of the leaves coming up from behind her. The mask was removed and ...

Loose Leaf Art Journal Page by Angie Coomber

Hello arty friends, how are you all doing? Are you a gelli print hoarder like me? Then this might be a good stash buster for you. I started with my collection of gelli prints... ...and tore them into strips of about 1.5cm. Then I stamped the lovely face from the Believe in you set on a yellow background, drew a circle around it and cut it out. I edged the circle with Distress Ink. Next, I did some background stamping, using the Mix A Sentiment #2 and Round in Circles stamp sets. I lightly glued the circle to the page and then arranged the paper strips around it, using the colours of the rainbow as a rough guide. Once I was happy with the positioning of the circle and strips I glued everything down properly. I did some doodling and added "confetti", which I made from the gelli prints using a single holepunch. Finally I added the quote and a little bit of gold splatter. Stay safe! Hugs from Angie x Stamps used: Round in circles Believe in you Mix A Sentiment #2

A journal spread with Textured birds and Inky Flowers by Saadia Nawaz.

Hi Everyone, I want to share an art journal spread with you. I hope you like it. It was inspired by the colors of the September mood board. I used the Mixed Media Marks stamp set for the background texture.  Added the flower images from the Inky Flowers stamp sets.  My focal image is from the Textured Birds stamp set.  Finished the spread by adding a quote from Believe in You stamp set.  That's all for now.  A reminder that we have a stamping challenge that goes all month on Rubber Dance stamps Facebook group. Link to the Facebook group is here .  Thank you for visiting,  Take care,  Saadia Nawaz. Stamps used:
