Simplicity Sunday - Art journal page with gelli print collage by Melina

Hi!

It´s Melina here today sharing this art journal page for the Simplicity Sunday post.


I used a A6 size piece of gelli printed paper and stamped the stem from Crazy Flowers #1. 
I also stamped with Old Book Page at the right side of the page.
I stamped the tulip and the leaves onto other gelli printed papers, cut them 
out and glued them down using gel medium.
 I used white and yellow Posca pens to add some details.
I add a quote from Tim Holtz and my simple page is done.

Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) Bibi here today with a fun project, using the Totem Monarch Poppet chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts . I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project. Tutorial Tuesday - A Mini Album by Sue

Good morning and happy Tuesday, it's Sue here with my tutorial for my very easy to make mini album. Here's the front and here's the back.   I started by cutting the pages for my album. I've used the Eileen Hull passport die as I think this is a fab size. Plenty of room for your images but not so big as to be intimidating. I've used chipboard for my covers, and a mixture of black, white, and watercolour card for the pages.   I've used canvas for the binding as this is really tough and flexible. I've inked it up with Distress Inks just using the primary colours, that way where they meet they will make new colours and not mud. I know you probably know this but it took me years of mud before I really got it!   Just look at the size of this Music  stamp, it's a real whopper!
