CASual Friday: Card- Get whale soon!

Hi everyone!

I am so happy to be here, with my very first project for Rubber Dance! Today, as it's CASual Friday,  I have for you en easy card, all in blues and grays:)



Firstly I cut 1 cm smaller than the actual card piece of cardstock on which I wanted to work. I stamped it with super- cute stamps from the set called Whale Wishes and black, permanent Archival Ink. Then I've added some colors with Distress Oxide and Lindy's sprays. I've added Glossy Accents to the bubbles to give them 3D effect (the same goes for an eye of the whale). At the end, between the actual card and the smaller stamped piece, I added blue tracing paper (the edges were cut on my trimmer in a shape of waves).

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) These fine ladies have bullied me and some of my designers into a blog hop featuring our Sarcasm Superpower stamps. It didn't take much persuation, nor any bribes to speak of. Just mention  "challenge", and we'll be all over you like underfed fruitflies on a brown banana.
