Hello Crafters! I'm excited to welcome you to the very first joint blog hop with EyeConnect Crafts and Rubber Dance Stamps! Erin Sparler of EyeConnect Crafts (USA) and I, Bibi Lindahl of Rubber Dance Stamps (Norway), met online in the fall of 2015. We quickly hit it off and discovered that we had a LOT in common, or as Erin so eloquently put it: There is no word for old friends who have just met! ♥ The Design Teams have been supplied with chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and rubber stamps from Rubber Dance Stamps and we are all thrilled to show you the results with this joint Blog Hop! What's in it for you? Glad you asked! One lucky winner will receive a Gift Certificate worth $25 from BOTH EyeConnect Crafts AND Rubber Dance to spend on our websites! Another lucky winner will receive a surprise gift from BOTH Erin and me, with $25 worth of products from our two companies! What do you have to do? Not much! 1) Visit all the blog posts in the hop and le...
Hello everyone and welcome to this fun blog hop with many Rubber Dance stamps to win! Tjooohoo! It's Bibi here (owner of Rubber Dance), and today it's been exactly one year since I blogged about something I had made using Rubber Dance stamps! I cannot believe it's been a whole year already, but on the other hand - there has been a lot happening since then. Things really started moving after I had hired my very first Design Team in August last year, and with their help this blog rapidly changed from being a rather quiet place to quite a busy bee hive! My Design Team members have made so many beautiful things with my stamps, helped spread the word out there in blogland (and beyond), and they've been such a great support in more ways than I can count. I'd be way up creek without a paddle without them! ♥ Love you guys! ♥ From zero readers to nearly 40.000 hits in just one year - that's pretty awesome! And if you're curious where all tho...
Good morning, it's Sue here sharing a project with my new favourite stamp (they're all my favourites really). I was lucky enough to visit Venice for my 50th birthday and I loved it. It was this time of year (my birthday's on the 13th hint hint) and the weather was beautiful! I stamped Venezia onto some watercolour card using my stamp press. I find this really useful when using watercolour card as it can be hard to get a good impression the first time. Then I grated some cheap as chips wax crayons over the top. Isn't this the cutest iron you've ever seen? I put a piece of parchment over the wax shavings and gave it a good iron. I just kept grating and ironing until I was happy with the colours. For the background, I stamped Vintage Postcard a few times and coloured it with Distress Oxides. There's also the Carte Postale from La Mappa , And there we are, all done. This is the most fun I've ever had ironing! It j...
Hi everyone, It's Donna here today with a tag which looks like a piece of wood....well hopefully it does....a bit!! This is a really quick and simple effect to achieve. Apply a couple of blobs of Fresco paints (green and white) onto a size 8 manila tag and scrap down the paint using an old store/credit card....make sure it is an old one though lol. Once that is dry, then grab a ruler and a black fine liner pen and start to randomly draw in the 'planks' to give the wood effect and also add little dots to represent the nails. Add a little bit of brown Gelatos randomly as shown on the photo to darken it down a bit. Not bad huh?! I can't take credit for this method as I saw it somewhere on my travels, probably Pinterest, but I really liked the way it looked so was dying to try it out for myself. The next step was to stamp the Da Vinci woman 1 and a flower from the Antique Botanicals set onto a piece of Strathmore...
