Thanks Sew Much - card tutorial

Hello my dear crafty friends! It's Irit from the Design Team here. Welcome to my Rubber Dance tutorial post.

Today I am going to show you how to make a stamped card with a lot of stamps, inks, cardstock  and some very small embellishments and to make it three dimensional, fancy and full of life without any patterned paper or special mediums.

So I used a bunch of stamps from Rubber Dance new released set called Sew Sweet.
First I made a stamped background with a mix of stamps from this set and  4 colors of permanent inks.

Then I stamped smaller pieces and hand cut them as they will be used for the front cluster over the card.

For the next step I inked all pieces and my background with 3 distress brown inks.

I added twine over the cut out small spools and the lace over the large spool and connected the lace with 2 pearled pins. You can add buttons, more ribbons or pins; I decided to stop as I wanted the stamps to be seen! And so they are! In all its GLORY!

I added a sentiments using the Rubber Dance "thank you" stamp from the set called Just a Note, plus a few letter stickers.

I think that I am in love with this set and with this card!

Thank you for visiting!

Beautiful card, Irit! Lovely idea to use the stamped images as embellishments, just adding a little bit of twine and lace.
Thank you so much!

I looove your card, Irit! It was a very good idea to use lace and thread. It gave the card a completely different dimensionide. And the stamps - beautiful!

Ok - I am totally blown away by your card Irit - it's just FABULOUS. What an amazing display of the lovely stamp set. You really "stitched together" up every aspect of the set perfectly. Absolutely a work of art. j.
