New Stamps, again? Sew it Seams!

Hellooooo, stampers! It's Bibi here today (the owner of Rubber Dance) to show you stuff I've made with some new stamps! Yessss, brand new ones - and you saw them here first!

DT Katy has done it again - this time she has designed two sets of stamps, and let me begin with this one: A very cool set of sewing themed stamps that we've called "Sew Sweet".

I made this card for a friend's birthday. She likes to sew so I think she'll like it.
The birthday stamp is also a Katy design (from the "Happy Birthday" set).

This is what the new set looks like. Isn't that cool? I love these!!

Actual size: 13 x 18 cm (5 x 7 inches)

I made the card below for Katy when I sent her the "Sew Sweet" stamps.
Notice the thingies (what are those called??) on the left hand side. I found them when I was rummaging through the huge box of buttons that my mom gave me a few years ago, stuff she had collected for some 50+ years (i.e. since before I was born) .... and now they are on a card with Katy in England! I must remember to tell my mom - I know she'll think that's kinda cool :-)

The other stamp set that Katy has designed is one with Christmas sentiments and tag stamps that I think is such fun to use! The sentiments fit inside the tags. Clever Katy! :-D Now, I'm guessing that some of you think it's way too soon to talk about Christmas, but those of us who want to make some 100 + Christmas cards or so, we do need to start pretty early so please bear with us even if it's only September.  Alright, then - so here they are: "Christmas Cheers & Gift Tags" by Katy:

Actual size: 13 x 9 cm

Here I combined the large tag stamp with the new mannequin stamp:

One of the new sentiment stamps
combined with the snowman and snowflakes from "Frosty Friends":

Stamped tags on a card:

Tag stamped on the card - shadow is pained on.
Poinsettia from the "Cozy Christmas" set of stamps:

Two gift tags with stamped tags:

Large tag stamp combined with a Christmas sentiment from the same set
and big words from the set called "Affirmations":

I've been having so much fun with the new stamps and I think Katy did a great job designing these!
Both sets of stamps are now available at the Rubber Dance web shop as well as my Etsy shop.

Thank you for stampin' by today - Sew Sweet of you! ;-)
Till next time .....

 XOX,
Bibi

Hehhe - you used SNAPS with your STAMPS Bibi! Love both of the sewing cards. I don't sew but my mother-in-law would have flipped out over both of these cards. I think those stamps will be a huge success. And the Christmas set is super too. All your projects are really SUPER - love seeing your creations. j.

Thank you so much for all your sweet comments, you lovely people! ♥

So, now the thingies have a name (or two...), snaps, click buttons, press studs ... I guess they have different names in different countries where English is spoken. I've found out what they are called in Norwegian, too - trykknapp (press button). I KNEW that! Chalk it up to old age ... haha

Thanks again, sweeties!!
♥♥♥

Oh yes please! Those Christmas sentiments are going on my wish list. I don't have many word stamps and no Chrismtas ones. The sew stamps are awesome sauce as well. Wonderfully done Katy! So many ways to use these. ~Niki
