Clean and Simple Christmas Cards


Hi everyone. It's Susanne today and I'd like to show you some clean and simple Christmas cards, that I created with the Rubber Dance "Pine Fire Yew" stampset as well as the "Christmas Greetings" sentiment stamps.
I used some light blue cardstock for the card base and inked the edges with my opak white ink pad. After that I stamped the pine branch into the right upper corner with Versamark Dazzle. That gives you a shimmery tone on tone effect. I only waited about 2-3 hours until I stamped the main image on the left hand side (I used VersaMark) and when I covered it with the white detail embossing powder the powder stuck also to the first image I stamped. The next time I'll start with the embossing!!! And do the edging and the tone on tone stamp afterwards.

That's what I like about this kind of cards. They are really easy to create, but they look really special because of the embossing.

The Rubber Dance stamp set "Pine Fire Yew" is perfect for this kind of cards, because you can combine the stamps in lots of different ways. I stamped my sentiment with Archival Ink "plum" on a piece of white cardstock and layered it onto the card with some washi tape that I had in my stash. Add some twine to finish your card.

Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them!
