Art journal page with Doodle Flowers & video tutorial by Gerry


Hi lovely crafty friends, today I have an easy art journal page to show you with Rubber Dance stamps. I made the background with Nuvo Aqua Flow pens and I used the new Rubber Dance Doodle Flowers





This is the flower set I used, aren't they awesome and they are great to fussy cut too, like I did.







Just a day after I started the page with the blue colours, I saw the Rubber Dance challenge moodboard:-) Now that was easy, so I used it right away only needed to add some gray.



I added a printed sentiment with new as a theme and the stamps are new too so it's two for one.

Blog Hoppin' Superpowers

Rubber Dance has gained a following of stampers that love our Sarcasm Superpowers sentiment stamps. These aren't exactly our best seller stamps (not very surprisingly), but if you love them, you'll LOVE them! And this particular group of followers certainly do - not very surprisingly at all with a group name like theirs .... namely the  Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! (I know, right? Too darn cute!) These fine ladies have bullied me and some of my designers into a blog hop featuring our Sarcasm Superpower stamps. It didn't take much persuation, nor any bribes to speak of. Altered Chipboard Butterfly + Giveaway

Bibi here today with a fun project, using the Totem Monarch Poppet chipboard from EyeConnect Crafts . I had such a blast with this and I hope what I've made will inspire you to make something similar. The difference between the chipboards from EyeConnect Crafts and others ones I've seen out there, is that they are made to connect (hence the name). There are two categories, one called Lace-Ups which you bind together using ribbons, string, lace, etcetera and another category of chipboards with smaller holes so you can connect the pieces using tiny eyelets or brads. This is what it looks like. The pieces are laser cut, and you easily remove them from the base - save that part and use it as a stencil for another project. Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour.
