Magic in truth, art journaling video by Melina

Hello!

It´s Melina here today sharing an autumnal art journal spread with you.
Time flies so fast now! It feels like yesterday I made art journal pages about
longing for spring... 


Well, this is the spread I made for today, and it comes with a video.
I used the awesome Carved Whimsy Wood stamp set and one of my 
favourite background stamps - Old Book Page. 


On this spread I have been stamping with DecoArt Media Fluid acrylics,
and I also did some stamping on tissue paper.

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). After all, fall/autumn is all around us (here in the north, anyway), and we do love its glorious colours! We hope you do, too, when you create an entry (or three) for our October Challenge: Did you know that "fall" is an Old English word? It replaced the word 'harvest' in the early 1600s as more people started moving into cities. City dwellers began to use the phrase 'fall of the leaf'' and, over time, the phrase was shortened to fall. Surprisingly, etymologists don’t know where the word "autumn" comes from. It was used as far back at the 1300s (by Chaucer), and Shakespeare often used the word, too. As English spread to the New World, the common season names split as well and today, American English uses the word fall while British English
