An Autumnal wreath card by Donna Gray.

Hi everyone,

It's Donna here today with a card which captures all the joy of Autumn I think ;)

What I did:

I sprayed a piece of water colour card with a mixture of Flat Matte Sprays (red, orange, yellow and green) and then stamped seven times an acorn leaf from the wonderful I Love Leaves which was created using real leaves from the very clever Boss Lady.

I fussy cut out the leaves and added foam dots to the back of them and then arranged them in roughly a wreath shape on the Kraft card.

I took a piece of corrugated cardboard and inked it with a brown Distress Oxide, then added the sentiment from Four Seasons to it and adhered it to the middle of the wreath.

The finishing touches were to add a little beetle from the Beautiful Bugs stamp set coloured with Zig Clean Colour pens and adhered with a foam dot, a greyboard berries embellishment which was coloured with Posca pens. If you look really, really closely you might just see some glistening dots on the leaves that I added with Glossy Accents to look like raindrops.

Isn't Autumn just glorious, a fitting closing curtain to Summer.

Hope you like it
Donna xx

Very beautiful, I think you've captured the awesome autumn colours that are starting to pop up everywhere. The beetle is such a cute detail to your card! Love the raindrops on the leaves, too. Thank you so much for sharing! ♥ ♥ ♥

I forgot to say "LOL" to your 'Boss Lady' comment....You know I always find it so funny and weird to be called that! ;-)
