HAPPY NEW YEAR AND OTHER HAPPENINGS

Hello Rubber Dance fans.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!   Gail here today to start a new year and a new decade here at the Rubber Dance blog. I hope you had a fabulous and fun festive season and I hope that 2020 will be an awesome year for us all. The first day of the month/year/decade so we have a new round of inspiration for you.  We have changed the challenge format a to using a moodboard.  You can be inspired by anything on the moodboard; one or more colours, things, shapes, mood etc. etc.. AUGUST INSPIRATION

Hello Rubber Dance fans.  Gail here starting the new month here at  the Rubber Dance blog. There's a new challenge..... Loving those cool summer colours!!!!  Our monthly challenges are now based in our FB fan group.  The colours for the August challenge are Turquoise, Sky Blue and Sandstone and/or you can go for the Anything Goes theme.  Link up your makes using the colours and/or anything goes using Rubber Dance stamps and you might be the lucky €15 gift certificate winner! We are very pleased to welcome our guest designer for August..... Gabriele Gabriele will be joining us later in the month with her lovely projects. A mini canvas tutorial with Beautiful bugs by Saadia Nawaz

Hi everyone, Saadia here with a quick and easy mini canvas project. I hope you like it. I have used a 4x 4 inches round canvas for this project. I bought it locally from a craft store.  I made the background with Dylusions ink sprays. After that, I did background stamping with  Art defined stamp set . I used Archival inks. Did a bit of heat embossing with  Grungy stuff stamp set . Next, I glued a diecut with gel medium. Stamped and colored a small bee from  Beautiful bugs stamp set  and added a word 'Dream' from  Art defined stamp set . That's all for now. A journal spread tutorial with Beautiful bugs stamp by Saadia Nawaz

Hi everyone,  Saadia here: I want to share with a journal page with you. I hope you like it.  Unfortunately I forgot to take step by step pictures but I will try to describe all the steps.   I applied a coat of white gesso to a page in my Dylusions square journal. After that, I  applied blue and green acrylic paints through a stencil by Dylusions. Next step was, background stamping with Archival inks. I used  Art defined stamp set  and  Grungy stuff  stamp set for background stamping.  Stamped small dragonflies from  Beautiful bugs   stamp set. I stamped them at 3 sites with Archival ink.  Next, I stamped the quote from  Think again  stamp set. A journal page tutorial with Beautiful bugs by Saadia Nawaz

Hi everyone,  Saadia here with a quick and easy journal page tutorial. I hope you like it.  Let's start our journal page: I applied ink sprays on two areas of the page.  After that, I did background stamping with  Grungy stuff  and  Art defined  Rubber Dance stamps. I heat embossed a quote 'Believe in Yourself' from  Think again set, and cut the words 'Be you' for the title of this page. This stamp set has many beautiful words and quotes.  Finished my journal page by adding paint splatters and a small bee from  Beautiful bugs  stamp set.  That's all for now  A reminder that we have a stamping challenge that goes all month on our face book page which you can find Here .
