Whale Hello There

Good morning and happy Wednesday. It's Sue here with my very first piece on the 'big blog'

When I first saw Susanne's amazing whales they went straight to the top of my wish list.

I recently made a journal with Rubber Dance stamped covers, so now it's time to fill it! I cut a piece of kraft card to size, and brayered gesso roughly over.

Then I stencilled acrylic paint through a That's Crafty dinky stencil. These are fab on smaller projects as they are sized just right, and there's enough room around the edge to hold it down - even for someone as messy as me!

Time for the stamping now. I've used the smaler stamps from Whale Wishes, and also added some sparkle with mica powders. The signatures in my journal are black, so I've die cut my page so the black shows through.

Look at those faces! The wales have been stamped on a couple of Distress Oxide backgrounds, then cut out.

And we're all done! I've added some of the die cut hexagons, splashes of white paint, and some wooden hoops that I've had since time began. The sentiment is from the same Whale Wishes plate - there really is everything that you need on this one.

There is still a few day left for you to join in with our fab colour challenge, so get stamping!
Have a wonderful day, and thanks very much for looking x
