"A Dream is a Wish..." Art Journal Spread Tutorial

Hello Everyone,
Shilpa here,

I have a journal spread tutorial to share with you today!


Rubber Dance Stamps used here are:



I had few layers of texture paste and Gesso on these pages, before I started.
I applied Red and dark brown acrylic paints with my fingers , randomly on the surface.




Here, you will find, I stamped texture with Vintage Flourishes stamp set and circles stamp set.




As I wanted more color on the pages, I applied orange acrylic paint.





As a focal point, I used two heart stamps from I heart Art stamp set. I stamped them using black archival ink.
I thought, "a dream is a wish your heart makes" from Affirmations stamp set fits perfectly here.
I also stamped text with "Art Defined" stamp.



and I finished my journal spread!

CASology Challenge #213: Stitch - Card by Bibi

The cue word at the CASology challenge this week is STITCH, so without further ado - here's my card: Stamps used (all from Rubber Dance): Giraffe , Mannequin from Sew Sweet ,  X stitches from Stitch & Frame . Stamped with Archival Ink (coffee), coloured in with Distress inks (tea dye and mermaid lagoon). Always Sparkle - Envelope Book Tutorial by Sue

Good afternoon and happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend! It's Sue here with my envelope book. Making your own books and journals is very popular at the moment, and I wanted to have a go. I also wanted to use supplies that I had already as it's just after Christmas and I'm already in 2022's craft budget. So I have quite a few of these -  Colour Craft lustre paints. Loads of these - rather posh DL pearlised envelopes. I bought a box full in a closing down sale, so have a box full less 3! And these, my favourite bright StazOn inks. So to work (well play really, I'm making it all up as I go along) I started by painting my envelopes with the paints, then added some stencilling in a contrasting colour. I've used totally different colours so that I've got a choice of colours for my toppers. I've used metallics on this one and they are really nice! For the 'in between
